Application
Now that you've decided to apply for Sic Infit, there are a few things you should know and keep in mind...
1. Every approved application is subject to a two week probationary period. Sometimes players don't fit well into a game. Sometimes characters don't fit well into a game. It's no one's fault, it's just a fact of life. We've certainly encountered this, and you probably have too. The probationary period is so everyone can see how they all fit and how everyone plays together. If both the mods, the current players, and the probationary player feel everything is going well, then there's no issue. However, at the end of the probationary period, if either the mods or the player feel everything is not going well, then that is the time to break ties.
2. If you are applying for a character that has already been played by another player, you are not obligated to continue any story lines or plots that player has set up. However, out of respect for your fellow players, read over what's already been established and discuss with them whether you'd like to continue it or not.
3. If you are applying for a family member of an already established character, be sure to read that character's history and talk with that character's player first. You are free to send PM's to players or to contact the mods through the mod email and we will be happy to facilitate the communication.
4. Instead of a scene sample in the application, you will need to propose an audition scene. If the mods like your application, you will be contacted about playing out your audition scene with one, or more, of the moderators. This scene will not be used in-game.
Once you've completed the following application, mail it to the mods at sic.infit.mods@gmail.com.

Age: Please don't lie about this. We'll be able to tell if you do.
Messengers Used: We prefer AIM, but we like to be able to chat with our players. It speeds up planning/plotting/playing.

Previous RP Experience: Links to character journals and games are acceptable, but tell us who you've played.

House: Current or alumnus
Year or Year Graduated:
Occupation: Adults only.
Appearance: A couple of paragraphs, please. Include any physical ailments or distinguishing marks.
Intended PB:
Personality: Again, a couple of paragraphs. Include quirks, phobias, etc. Also, please include your character's sexuality. If the character will switch in the future, please note this or else stick to their stated sexuality. Not every character can be gay, and we will take a poor view of characters who go against what they are portrayed as in canon.
History: A couple of paragraphs.
Plans or plots you would like to involve your character in: You don't need details just a basic idea of where you want to run with your character.
If your character is a canon character, how do they differ from their canon representation?
Audition Scene: Please include a scene set up for your character. Feel free to include characters you would like to have your character play against.
